More than 200 Roma, including around 50 children, living in an informal settlement near Bobigny in the north eastern suburbs of Paris, are at high risk of being evicted in the next 48 hours despite the High Court in Bobigny declaring in July that there was no urgent need to carry out the eviction.

On Tuesday 4.2.2014, the Norwegian radio station NRK reported that Amnesty had published a report on human rights violations experienced by transgender people in Norway and the rest of Europe. My immediate reaction was joy and gratitude. Relief. Aspiration. Someone out there was thinking of, and working with a topic that is crucial for my child’s future and health.
