Discrimination is one of Europe’s most pressing human rights concerns, affecting the lives of millions of people across the continent.

Amnesty International’s Fight Discrimination campaign aims to ensure that all individuals in Europe enjoy effective protection against discrimination.

Our Mission

Through its Fight Discrimination campaign, Amnesty International seeks to expose the impact of discrimination on peoples’ lives and empower individuals to claim their rights.

We will 

• Campaign for the introduction and effective implementation of comprehensive anti-discrimination legislation at the regional and national level
• Campaign against discriminatory policies and practices - and for the introduction of effective measures to promote equal treatment - in a number of priority areas
• Seek to combat the prejudices underlying discrimination
